Pre-approved Computers -Last updated 2/16/2023

For purchases in quantities of 1-3, select pre-approved base model Dell laptop computers, monitors, and docking stations are in stock and available to be delivered very quickly for a small stocking fee. This stocking fee helps ensure that University Stores is able to maintain an inventory adequate for providing standard computing equipment in a day or two as opposed to several weeks. We strongly recommend ordering through University Stores when shipping time can impact University operations. The stocking fee stays within the university, so there is no additional cost to CMU, and we believe this small cost is well worth it to drastically reduce the time it takes for us to deliver new and replacement computers.

For purchases in quantities of 4 or greater, for grant funded purchases, for base models requesting optional upgrades, and for models not stocked in University Stores, please submit a purchase requisition for the order to be processed through Purchasing.

AppleCare warranty is required as an add-on to all Apple products.
