Office of Information Technology


​The Office of Information Technology (OIT) provides a number of core services to CMU faculty, staff, and students.
OIT manages academic systems, the multimedia production and mediation in the classroom, the University data network including campus-wide wireless access, voice & chat systems, physical & virtual security, physical infrastructure & virtual infrastructure, and administrative applications.

Support for all technology services is provided through the Help Desk, which, in addition to being open during regular business hours, is also open most evenings and weekends. OIT also offers support for personal devices through heavily discounted cell phone and compu​ter repair services.
